ah venice

as you meander through the crowded maze of fasion, architechture, and culture you find yourself and everyone around you looking a thousand different ways at once, ur mind filled with racing thoughts. through the allys, the aromas of fresh fish are verified by the sights of pizza with mussles on it, fetticcini alfredo with cream sauce, and every color and hue of wine immaginable. every one is smiling and discovering new things with a hightened sence of sight touch taste sound expirience.

we stop to grab a bite at one of the few places in the more touristy section of town and notice three couples of older, rich americans giving the waiter a hard time because he doesnt speack english. they are so blessed and yet seem so ungrateful. i was able to enjoy a scalpini dish which is young veal with a bitter yet olivey kind of gravy sauce. the meat was a little dry but it looked better than the deep fried dry piece of chicken across the table from me. this alonge with a salad that i drizzled some olive oil and balsamic vineger on made for a small, yet filling meal, especially after walking through the hot city streets for hours.
